Traction control service
Where is this sensed from? what would make the light come on then after shutting off the car, The warning is gone this has happened twice, the car is an 05 z-51 6sp any help is appreciated

The 05's with the telescoping wheel had a recall due to a wire being pulled off a point. There is a diy in here somewhere for it. I just took mine to the dealer because I hate pulling off all that plastic body paneling in the interior.

I recently had the traction control/active handling/abs systems go out on my car because of a malfunctioning wheel speed sensor. Probably get it scanned and it will point you in the direction of the problem. The check engine light doesn't have to be on for a tech to find trouble with the system.
