Default Running Nitrous Line???

I am running the nitrous line on my car and found a rubber gromet behind the battery. When trying to get through it I noticed once I cut into the engine side there is a thick rubber piece on the inside to. Is there a better way to run the line and if not how do I get past the thick rubber part? Thanks for any help. Jeff

You can push the gromet out, drill a hole adjacent to the gromet hole, slide your line into the adjacent hole you just drilled, and replace the rubber gromet.

I sliced in from the dash side and the line went right through the first time.
