Default Threw a evac code

The dealer said it was a bad evac solenoid. They didnt have it in stock and it will be 2 days before they get it.My question is this something that I may have done by dropping the tanks and lowering the cradle to install the 3 in exhaust ?

Probably. The evap pressure sensor is on the passenger tank.

How come you had to drop the tanks and crossmember to install a 3" exhaust?

I didnt have to totally drop the tanks, just the skid pans under the tanks. The tabs where the bolts hold them to the frame interfear with a6 install. So the tanks were just hanging from the inlet necks or what ever else thats attached. They only drop 1/2 or 3/4 of an inch. But I didnt know if this may have unpluged something.

It is possible to damage the harness that supplies the power to the evac solenoid which is located in the right rear wheel well. Check the 25 amp fuse #13 (MRR TD) which is in the under hood fuse box. It may be blown which would cause a code P0449. THis happened to me after a cat back install.

Fuse # 13 25amp was blown.I replaced it and cleared the 2 codes and now everything is fine. But should I go back and check for harness or solenoid physical damage or not worry about it if it doesnt blow another fuse ?

That's what I did. I found no evidence of physical damage to the solenoid, but I did find that the harness was hanging lower then it should have been and that someone had tied it up with a spot tie. It looked to me like the harness should have been attached to a tab on the solenoid assy but I couldn't get it to stay. I also inspected the harness and found a small spot of exposed copper. From the service manual schematic it appears that the fuse is connected directly to the battery, which would explain why the fuse blew when you installed the over-axle pipe on the right side. You need to be sure that the harness can't touch the hot exhaust. I miss spoke when I said that the solenoid was in the RR wheel well. It's actually inboard from the RR wheel well.
You will need to raise the rear and take a light to see up above the exhaust (all the way up by the floor pan) right where the over axle pipe comes back down in front of the the RR axle.
FYI: The vent solenoid is normally open and is only closed when the ECM orders an EVAP SYSTEM VAC LEAK CHECK.
