speed in gears
I would like to know the approximate maximum speed attainable in each gear for my standard 2008 C6 Corvette coupe with the LS3 430hp engine and automatic six speed transmission. I've been able to find chart for the Z51 package with the LS2 engine, but not mine.
Gearing is 4:020, 2:360, 1:530, 1:150, 0:850 & 0:670 with the standard 2.56 rear axle ratio. Can anyone out there can shed some light on this ?:This is my first Corvette and, at my age, my last. All I know now is that it will go fast enough to trip the fuse on this old man's pacemaker.

Well, congrats on the new baby! But I would keep an eye on the tach more than the speedo. Don't want to be over-revving your LS3 along with your pacemaker!
