So my car is getting heads ported, cam , headers exhaust and gears, all the bolt ons. When I was at the shop I heard a cadillac with a built
ls2 with headers and a corsa exhaust, the car did have kooks converters on it also. This car was LOUD!!!!!!! I am having kooks headers and converters along with Corsa exhaust installed on my car, but now I am having second thoughts, are the Vettes that loud with the corsa? is there a quiter system, should I just run it through the stock mufflers? I just don want to sound obnoxious. My last car was a Whippled 04 Cobra with high flows cats and flomasters and that was loud. I was hoping it wasnt going to be as loud. Any recomendations
Only your ears can make the choice. You will get hundreds of threads here on exhausts. There is only one way to make the decision, always ride in the set-up that you are considering.
Keep your stock mufflers, until you hear it with the headers.
Agree with this post. Try stock mufflers first as the headers and cam will make them much louder. If still to quiet, then do the Corsa Sports which are nice at lower speeds, insane at WOT and no drone. I have h/c, lth, catted x-pipe, cai and Corsa sports and it's a nice package.

Back when I had my C5 I bought a set of Corsa Touring, (Quietest muffler back then) from a guy that had done H/C on a LS1. He sent me a video of the car and it was obnoxiously loud. He ended up going with Z06 Ti's. Your best move later may be Z06 bi mode mufflers.
