Default Running LS9 heads on LS2

Had anyone made this move yet? Curious what the final compression ratio will be. Do you fell its worth the 900.00 price tag and what kind of gains will be acquired from this mod?

A good ported LS3 head like RPM's or TEA's would be the same head with more flow/performance..

I made the move. 9.6 CR. It was the logical move for me due to the fact that my CR was previously at 11.3 with a set of milled 62 cc AFR 205s, and they left me with too much compression for my set up. Wound up with some valve damage and flipped to the LS3 heads. Car runs great, but I had to run a smaller pulley to get back some of the low end performance.

So this seems like a choice if'n I was going to install the new TechCo supercharger for the LS3 setup on my 2005 z51. This brings the compression down to a level close to the Zr1. Did you do anything to the lower end?

Stock bottom end. Running meth and a conservative tune @ 11 psi.
