Default track run after gears/ line lock.

Well I took the batmobile to the track today for the first time after getting my gears installed. Results were less than what was hoped for. I ran an 11.6 with a 1.70 60' with a 117.8 trap. My best is an 11.4 with a 1.7 60' and a 121.7 trap. So I actually got slower with gears which is . That tells me one thing: tune still needs lots of work which I was not expecting.

Results of the line lock were amazing. My burnouts were bad azz and were super easy. I actually had people coming up to me and telling me I did the best burnouts at the track and there were pro street cars there. I will have a video by tomorrow morning posted to the thread.

Most likely. Im using the M/T streets right now and they seem to work pretty good. But they aint gonna last long with the type of burnouts Im doing.

Send me your most recent tune and I'll take a look. I'm guessing that you might not have set up your shift points properly.

The addition of gears uses totally different timing load cells too if you check on old vs new scans. The path through the timing histogram may be using non-optimum tuned cells. Gears dont change your MPH and since your's dropped it says there is something actually lowering HP. Gears lower ET by bettering the 60' for the most part.

I did just check the d/a for my area at the time I ran and it was 3200. I know this would affect my overall time but shouldnt the 60' still be better? I was expecting at least in the 1.6x range but nada. The car was hooking up exceptionally well also. I really dont know what to do or what is wrong. I looked at the scan and I am loosing some timing but I wouldnt think it would account for 4 mph possibly more since my best mph was on the old gear set.

Any suggestions or advice is appreciated.
