Looking to go to 9.5" front rims on my 09 C6. But I have a few criteria:
18" diameter rims
275/35ZR18 Invo's
No more than ~ 0.5" body protrusion
Z06 / Brembo / Stoptech 6 piston brakes with 14" rotors
No body or suspension interference even when unloaded on a lift
Can I get a 9.5" rim to fit without interference?
By my calculations I need to stay with a 56mm offset to keep the protrusion to .5", if some can confirm this as well.
If I am forced to 9" rim to prevent interference than I would like some comment on running the 275 Invo's on a rim this narrow. I know it is in the allowed range, but performance is a different issue
What you're looking for is CCW. I have their 505a wheels in 9 1/2 front size with 275 tires. I also have Z06 rotors and calipers up front. There is no interferance lock to lock and the wheels stay within the stock bodywork. On the rears I have their 19x11 wheels with Z06(325) tires. With the 505 style in that size I couldnt mount Z06 brakes in the rear but it didnt matter that much to me. They do make other styles that mount Z06 brakes front and back. They have about the best price for high quality American made forged wheels out there. Give them a call, they will answer all your questions.
