Default Need opinions, heads??

Well fella's, im new to this forums, but had a couple vettes for the last few years, so a little confortable with them! but anyway

check it out, i have a 2006 C6, and i went to a shop Lethal Performance out a San Antone to get some info about getting some work done on my car while i was out of town!

I planned on getting new .600 lift cam, pushrods, valve springs, injectors, full exhaust(long tubes all the way back to my SLP catback)
LSX intake manifold, 150 shot nitrous setup, and complete tune!!!

Now here is my issue! I really am not big deal into horsepower or anything, i just want a nice clean, and QUICK daily driver, that is really dependable with no concerns about driving to washinton if i had too! know what i mean! Well my brother who is handling all of this since i have been gone just informed me that i should look into getting heads along with it!

Danny, the owner of Lethal, told me that our stock heads on the LS2 are already really strong heads, and if power isn't my thing then not to mess with them, because they will work just fine with the setup we worked out

I need to know if its really worth it, because like i said power isnt that important to me, and i dont want to push the limits of the block with the nitrous on it either! so i guess what im asking! Given you guys know what i want and what im looking for

Should i get the heads? and pay another $2k and maybe be closer to pusher my block to the limit for a little extra punch

How crucial is the difference by throwing on a set of AFR heads, vs just having a nice Cammed Vette?

If you're not worried about power, then heads are not necessary to have a quick DD with cam, headers, and n2o. If you want every bit of power available, you're going to want heads. Just decide now before you go and buy all the valvetrain stuff + pay for install and tune. It'll be much cheaper to do it all now vs your current plan and change your mind later.
