I know of one Z51 owner that replaced his with the Z06 cooler. Says it made a good difference and is bigger than the Z51 packaged cooler.
I've also heard of one person using a B&M cooler.
Not sure what to do for oil cooler lines. The GM one's are supposed to be OK and cost is something like $100. Steel braided would be nicer. Let us know what you end up with.
Setrab is among the best in the biz. Give them a look
I have a Setrab on my other car. Great core and dropped my temps nicely. I have Mocal oil filter plate adapter with a thermostat and braided lines. In addition to the drop in temps I added about a quart of oil to the capacity of my engine.
I have a Z51 and the A6 did not come with an oil cooler, but I purchased the lines and cooler from a Zo6 from Gene Culley and that works great, I've been real happy with it!!!
