I have a bone stock 2005 LS2 on the engine stand about to go into a bone stock 2005 A4 Vette. I have a Comp Cams part number 54-444-11 laying around. This cam is .581/.588 224/230 with a 114 separation. What kinda gains would this give over stock, RWHP wise. If I decide to throw it in there, I would do headers and a decent torque converter soon after but I want opinions on what it would do HP wise with all else being stock. Thanks....

just to give you an idea.. I have a MN6 but I'm at 446 rwhp/401 rwtq w/a stock head/intake LS2 (I do have headers, exhaust and a CAI though) with a TSP Tsunami cam.
My guess is 30 HP or more. This is a very nice grind, XE-R lobes, should work OK with single valvesprings, should idle nicely and have good street manners. Since you already have the cam, just stick it in there and enjoy it.
I would do the headers at the same time, if possible. Saves install labor and tuning costs.
I had this cam in a supercharged 6 liter truck a few yrs ago but when I put it in I did heads and upped the boost all at the same time so I never knew what gains the cam itself was giving. I know its all about the combo, and I think this cam would be decent with what I'm looking at doing with the Vette.
