Default Best Header for 09 Vette C6

I think I am going with headers and Vararam intake with tune....what headers are the best performers or does it really make a differ. I have the upgraded exchaust so I will not be changing that.

$1500+ for headers? You mean people actually buy them at those inflated prices?
I hope these ebay/obx headers shake things up and bring the prices down. We'll probably need a few more companies to participate before this happens though.

the "corvette tax" can't last forever, the price of the cars and economy in general has spawned a lot of 20 something go-fast in a vette guys like me, no more grandpa got ripped off on parts soon hopefully

Never modded my last vette 07 Z06......except for tune and intake. I just wanted to use the forum for information before buying headers. Thanks for the comment.

1LT08, Sorry to burst your bubble but for those Chinese companies, like the one you mentioned above, to have headers for the 2009's they'll first have to copy a quality U.S. made set that costs considerably more to produce. If you think you're gaining anything by purchasing cheap imitations then have at it. The first container load that comes in made incorrectly will have most wondering why they wasted their money. It happens all the time and is most often is the reason why these "fly by night" companies go belly up.

No need for that... GM is already doing a great job discounting these cars.

Maybe you guys could stop saying "Pal" to each other and either stop posting or answer the question about '09 LS2 header choices for the OP?

The company mentioned is OBX. So what exactly are you saying about them?

DO NOT inquire a question like that with a supporting vendor, just give it time for a few of these "knockoff header" cars to make some passes and the "name brand stuff's way overpriced" reports will flood in, same thing happens with every car when enough go-fast guys own em

Airaid's already manned up on affordable intakes for LS3/LS7s, it's in the cards

I'm sorry whoever thinks OBX is going make LG, Kooks, ARH, etc to lower their price are smoking the green stuff. If you consider inferior welding and cheaper materials to cut sales your hopes are high. If you can afford a $50k car what the hell are you doing buying $300 headers Put it this way coming from the evo crowd an OBX header lasts about 2-3 weeks before they crack and fall apart. Fitment is terrible and their flanges are NEVER true. You get what you pay for. Being your 20's and having a vette is is fine but overextending yourself financially just to own the car and put cheap mods on it is a disgrace. If you think corvette headers are expensive go buy an M3

LG, Kooks, ARH

Pick any one of the 3 and you'll be good.

Idk why people get so emotional over headers. Buy what you want. I wouldn't roll the dice on obx but I'm not skilled enough to do my own work. Just wait for a sale and get what you want. IMO arh makes the best headers followed by LG and then kooks.
