Hey, I am having long tube headers installed in a week or 2 and I am looking to swap out spark plugs while I'm at it. I may be putting a very mild cam in also during install. See mods in sig below.
So, what plugs have you guys/girls had the best experience/performance with and recommend for an 08 C6 automatic?
If you plan on making a considerable amount more horsepower than stock with good tuning I would go with the TR6. If you are going to stick with a bolton car then the TR55's should be fine.

I've run the Callaways and the stockers in my previous supercharged LS2, I can't say I noticed a nickels worth of difference in performance. However the Callaways appear to be by far, superior in quality.
Spark plugs were NGK TR6's gapped at .035 for 6 lbs. of boost.
I went thru this exercise a last year on my 2005 LS2.
NGK TR55 and TR55IX are gapped at .060" gap. The LS2 is spec'd at .040" gap so the correct replacement NGK plug is the TR5.
I emailed NGK and they stated their website incorrectly listed the TR55 for 2005 Corvettes and should be TR5.
Cool when I installed my NGK TR6's the box said to gap to manufactors specifications, which for the LS2 is .040. However, when your dealing with a super charged car the plug gap is set tighter depending on how much boost your running.

Yes, I understand and agree.
The TR55 is designed to have a gap of .060" + - .005". It is not the correct plug if you want to gap it at .040" because the ground electrode would have to be bent too far over. The center and ground electrode should be perpendicular as much as possible. This is per the emails I got from the NGK engineers.
So, for my LS3 engine, what is the recommended product?
TR5 series, ie TR5, TR5GP, TR5iX..
I have mods and the guy that tunes my car recommended TR6IX, which is one step colder. http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/ Select 2006 corvette to get correct info..
Are the NGK TR5IX iridium worth the extra $$$$$? $6.99 vs. $1.99 each?
THe vette comes with delco iridium plugs. Thats why they are at a 100,000mile replacement interval. I'm changing mine just because of the mods. If not, I would leave them in there until 30,000 miles.
