Default traction control keeps going active

Test drove C-6 vert today with 23k miles that I am thinking about buying. It has Vellano VSH wheels on it. The front wheels are 20 inches x 9 1/2 width with 255/30/20 tires, and the rear wheels are 20 inches x 11.5 with 305/25/20 tires. No other aftermarket mods other than the wheels. The traction control handling keeps going active around 70 mph and will not allow the car to accelerate. When I deactivate the traction control the car drives fine or if i put the car in competitive mode it drives fine.

1. Is it the wheel size or tire size? Or,
2. Is it a problem with the traction control handling system?

Its a problem with the wheel and tire sizes.

The cars computer needs to see wheels that are approximately 1 inch taller in the rear. If the front wheels are too close to the size of the rear tires the cars computer thinks the rear tires are spinning and activates the traction control.

There are many threads on it and a few are open right now.

That makes sense. Thanks for the info.

Question: I search for threads on this issue before posting my thread and didn't see any pertaining to the same issue I expercienced. Do you know the name of the threads so I can search for them?

I had the same problem when I tried to research myself..

I just bought an 06 coupe and the rear tires were smaller than the factory size and of course experienced the same thing when driving it home 280 miles from the stealership I bought it from! The good news is after buying the correct tire sizes and installing them it fixed the entire issue.
