Hi Guys,
I had a couple of questions on my 2006 Z51.
Can any of you guys recommend a place in Hayward,CA where I can get my oil change done at a reasonable price.
Secondly while driving I get a message on odometer saying the right frot tire is flat.Calibrating speed to 55m/hr.The tires are new and fine.Any idea if as to what is wrong with the sensors?Should I take it to the dealership? This has happened twice..

Oil Change - DIY
Sounds like a flaky Tire Pressure Sensor. You may need to get it replaced. It is on the inside of the tire so it is difficult for a DIY. Any good tire shop can do it. They also have the tool to reset the sensor.
Sorry for sounding stupid but what does DIY mean.Do you mean do it yourself. If it is then I dont have the equipment to raise the car etc.If you know a place that would be great as I want to avoid taking it to the dealership.
I will get it checked on the sensors.Do you think the car warranty will cover this?

Thanks again for your reply.
Yes, DIY is Do it yourself.
I don't know CA at all. Check for a local car club for recommendations.
If you are under warranty, a bad sensor is a warranty item. You indicate this has happened twice. I'd take it in. Check with the dealer service department to be sure that they can service RunFlat tires. Some cannot. If they cannot, they will send it out. I would be wanting a dealer that can.
I can't give you a name of a reputable business to change your oil, but am certain you can find one. However, you are very fortunate to be in the same town as Newtech Performance. Just today, I was very close to stopping in to see the owner, but had to change plans at the last moment. His name is Nick and his life revolves around our automobiles. When you really need an expert to help you out on your car, go to Nick. His address is 2557 W. Winton, 7E. Hayward.
