headlight repainting?

headlight repainting?
has anybody had luck taking apart c6 headlight's for a color change? if so any info would be a great help, thank's!

That's a bold undertaking nicely done. I did that on my other car, but not sure I'd do it on my C6. I really don't need to as my car is black.
