I just installed this setup also. I believe with the 3" x pipe there is less room for error. My problems seems to be with the Borla catback though. I was having a hard time getting the driver side pipe to slide into the x pipe. I even rented a pipe extender to open up the x pipe end. I was shorted a clamp from TSP and really did not like the one's they sent either. I have to get my catback re aligned, as the exhaust is hitting.
Guys sorry I'm so slow getting back in here, I've been crazy busy! The catback shouldnt have rattle issues at all, my guess is if you loosen up the combo & realign everything before tightening you can cure the rattling or hitting issues.
When you stick that much pipe in such a small area you have to spend more time setting everything up to get it to clear properly.
Look for cat prices to be finished & ready next week guys!!!
bump, anxiously awaiting. Jason told me they are trying to keep the catted version no more than $150 above the catless X.....if so that would be an INCREDIBLE value for a catted X pipe/header combo.
