spiking oil pressure
Im not sure if its cause for concern or not but ive never noticed my oil pressure spike like this before.
It usually runs at 4 or just below, but now after install of lg longtube headers, lingenfelter air intake, themostat and tune, it spiked up to 6.5 almost 7 after a 1st, 2nd, 3rd gear pull. Oil pressure comes back down to below 4 once off throttle.
Is there any reason for concern?
Its also falling on its face in 1st, did it twice today but its also colder than usual out and engine was cold. Im hoping thats all the problem is

Sure you just didn't notice it before? Your oil pressure is supposed to rise when on the throttle. More rev's and load, more oil pressure. Even in neutral when tapping the throttle you should see a small rise in the oil pressure. Sounds normal to me.
