Hello, i have a 08 c-6 and i've been having some problems with the a/c in my car..
sometimes when i turn on my car i notice that the a/c control screen is blank, it does not even mark the outside temperature...i try turning the a/c, but it does not work. The screen and the a/c turn on after a few minutes.
I have taken my car to the dealer but they cannot duplicate the concern...
Anyone of you guys experienced something similar to this? if so how was it fixed?
Reboot the computer by removing your battery negative ground for 10 minutes or more. Sometimes these oddities just reset themselves. Remember to re-index your windows.
I dont have your issue, but every now and then my outside temp gets stuck on 65 making the auto feature on the AC not work so well. It turned on the heater when it was over 80 outside the other day, because it was reading 65.
I had been experiencing the same thing. If it was parked under the hot sun, above 90, when I got back in the display was blank. When it would come back, the last time after 1/2 hour, everything would work fine. The dealer warrantied the AC control head.
Of course, after being off for a little over a week, the display came back on that afternoon. They still warrantied it.

I have a 08' Z51 that has 7,000 miles on it. I noticed today that the AC display shows the last temperature setting intermittantly even when the AC is off. It shows the outside temp as normal, but should it also be showing the temp settings with the AC off. I noticed certain actions like rolling up the windows or other electrical changes seem to trigger this.
