There are a few out now. I know a few guys on here run Yanks and I also know Lingenfelter has 2 available with stall speeds just over stock. I will probably go with a Lingenfelter since I just want a hair over stock and I don't want to sacrafice any trap/roll speed.
I ran Yank converters in my Z28 and my WS6 Trans Am for a total of around 7 or 8 years without any problems from the converters at all. Lots of 1/4 races on them too.
Precision Industries Vigilante 3200 in the Corvette and a Vigilante 3600 in my Z28, both have been great converters and my experiences/dealings with the company have been excellent as well.

I'm cutting 1.4's with my Yank SS3600 and I've had it in the car for about a year now.
The other cool thing is that if you ever have a problem or question and need to call, you'll be talking to the actual guy who built your converter and not somebody just hired off the street.
Give us a call or check out our web at www.converter.cc in the C6 section for our list of converters and ask about the Corvete forum special discount.
