C6Z06 Catback Removal
Did you guys have to lower the rear drivetrain in order to remove the catback.
If anyone knows where I can find some info please help.
Thanks!

The only thing that needs to be removed out the way is the rear swaybar

Did you have the rear of the car in the air?
I'm having trouble because after pulling most out the very end which connects to the H-Pipe begins to hit the the tunnel before getting over the diff.
I can only turn the exhaust so far because the mufflers will hit the ramps.
So all it should take is a lil more manuevering to get it out?

Heres a link to a bb fusion exhaust install, may give you some information
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxFrS...e=channel_page
If you have a problem opening the link, you can go to Billy boat website
http://www.bbexhaust.com/car/corvette/z06/
and click on the bb exhaust install video.
good luck
It seems you have to lift the vehicle higher to manuever the pipes out the rear of the vehicle.

Are you planning on keeping your factory muffler setup? What catback system are you installing?

I had mine up on my raceramps, dropped the sway bar and just had to menuver the muffler either far left or far right depending on the side. No need to drop anything else or cut the pipes.

Thanks guys, I just watched the install video and I tried removing the passenger side first which they say is the hardest and does require some extra wiggle room.
So looks like tomorrow Ill drop the drivers side then slide out the passenger side.
Thanks!
