The core of your factory radiator is aluminum. What more do you need??

I'm not sure how much temp difference you'd see with an aluminum radiator but a larger radiator could prove beneficial. Especially for a boosted engine in the California heat.

You only need a bigger radiator if the stock unit can't keep the coolant in the desired temp range. Here in Texas, the stock radiator with a 160 'stat keeps my coolant temp at 180. I don't run it at the track, which would increase the demand on cooling system.

If yours is not keeping up, I understand there are a number of good aftermarket radiators out there.

Face area is more beneficial than core depth. There is not much room to increase W & H

Do you have an overheating problem? I see you have lots of power which creates a lot of heat. What temp are your running and why do you think you need a bigger radiator.

Bigger radiator will make recovery time quicker. It doesn't really change the run temp.

:o I have been keeping track of temps for a year now since I changed to the DeWitts radiator. It is a good piece and I think it is worth it, but it really hasn't altered my run temps.

You haven't posted your run temps. What are they?

Dewitts and yes it makes a world of difference.

Direct Fit radiator features two rows of 1" tubes, which doubles the cooling capacity of a factory single row. Exclusive "press formed" end tanks are hand tig welded by expert craftsman, eliminating the factory plastic tanks. This with the right t-stat and fan program no more heat problems ever.

John,,the temps haven't been too bad{around 210 at most,,without track running} but just wanted to do it for lower temps if it's not too much$$.

Dewitts radiator is one i have with 160 T-stat with a Low/High fan switch u never face an overheating issue.

My car is 570rwhp with A&A kit and i do straight runs on weekends from 0-160 on closed road and all back to back with fan on and never get over 200F.

Its really great for traffic if ur car a DD or for cooling purpose on track or preventing it to reach the high levels.

That is just from what i experienced

That's about right with the factory thermostat. Do you still have the factory thermostat?

Mine ran 204-210 until I changed to a 160 'stat. Now I run at 180 consistently.

Default Dual Fan

I would also add the dual fan kit while your at it. It WILL drop your temps.
