Default Wheel Fitment?

So I'm new to the forum. I pick up my 2008 C6 6mt later today.

I would like to get some C6 Z06 wheels for the car. I have seen the reproduction wheels but they don't like they have the same dish as the factory wheels. Is this due to the factory wheels having a different offset than the reproductions?

Will Z06 wheels fit a C6 with the standard suspension?

Thanks in advance and I'm happy to join the community.

Many Forum Vendors sell wheels that look like OEM Z06 wheels. Take a look at West Coast Corvette, Corvette Garage, Zip, Corvette Central and Mid America, to name a few, for some good examples.

Stock GM Z06 wheels will not fit because their offset will place the wheel and tire too far outboard and the tire can hit the fender. The suspension makes no difference.

The stock Z06 wheels are wider than the stock C6, that may be the difference you are seeing.

Try using the search function. There is a ton of information on this topic. The sheer number of wheel options is nearly overwhelming. The Z06 style wheel looks great and the reproductions are very affordable.

Congrats on the new C6 and welcome to the Forum.

You might want to check out the deep dish C6 Z06 wheels...

First decide if you will keep the stock brakes or upgrade them. If you're going to upgrade the brakes, you'll need to take that into consideration.

Thanks for the info. I will keep the stock brakes for now. The car is still under warranty for a while. I have a WRX that is my track car so the C6 is just going to serve as my entertaining daily driver.
