vararam 2009 vette
Ok people i have a questionI had an 08 corvette and it got flooded out so i took out the vararam from 08 (including the computer chip that is attached ) and replaced on the 09 z51
Problem (1) Will it be ok with out the bracket that was on the oil cooler ?
because i went to the vararm store and they gave me the replacement bracket but it was not fitting on 09 corvete so i left with no bracket
but bottom part of the intake is kinda touching the oil cooler
is that ok ?
problem (2) iinstead of using the 09 computer chip i used old 08 one..
is that gonna be causing the problem ??

The VR bracket is there for stability and to allow you to "LOAD" the new unit in VS the old bracket that would be in your way. ( the oil cooler is not in your way,just the OEM bracket itself )
The 09 setup is the same as an 08 , just call our tech at 713 899 6456. We know that he has set some road race cars up without the bracket for the quick changing of test mules at the track.
