Well today i was driving the car from the tranny shop to test it and when i turned the steering wheel it didnt turn at all when i turned it a little, then it has "ALOT" of play in it and i have to hold the steeringwheel at almost sideways to make it go straight. Needless to say its still at the tranny shop cause an axle leak but i need to figure out what I need to do to fix this steering alignment I had the steering rack out during the S/C install but i made sure not to move the wheel but could the links on the ends of the steering rack have gotten messed up some how?

It sounds like the bolt that holds the steering shaft to the steering rack has come loose.
Yes. That is a critical fastener. What else did they forget?
I did the install. What do you mean Fastener??? it was just a bolt and its tight as i could get it i just checked it. I got the steering wheel stiff just had to keep turning it until the air came out of the lines :P.
BUT its still Crooked so im going to try to unbolt the steering column again and re adjust it.
