So is the differnce between a stock corvette exhaust and npp just mufflers? I thought it was a full complete better catback with different piping and everything. So basically its a stock corvette system with just differnt mufflers for 1200? Is this right?

The NPP differ in both tips size (they are larger 3.5") and in the ability to have mild (stock) and wild (open straight through) sound. This is accomplished by a unique muffler with both a muffled side and a non-muffled side

I don't know what GM charges, but if your going to spend that much I would go with the B&B Fusions from www.southerncarparts.com. Thats what I use on my Z06. They are louder than stock npp open and just about as quite closed. The set is highly polished stainless steel from the tips to where they connect to the midpipe. They look good enough to hang on the living room wall. Short of going that route look in the C6 parts for sale section. I noticed some Z06 take offs for sale, but rarely any LS3 take offs. Good hunting!
