Help: Tires / Steering weird??

Hi,
I am a new owner of a vette, been here a lil bit, I own a 2005 c6 coupe z51 mn6 vette. The tires are almost out of life (front/back) but whenever I go over say 45mph, the steering feels jumpy, almost like the car is "side stepping" and I have to correct it.

Is this normal for the vettes to handle this way??? Could it be tires are worn out?? allignment??

Any input would be great and appreciated!!

Since you say the car needs new tires, suggest getting it aligned at the same time.

Yeah, gonna do that here and see what happens,

Could it also be grooves in the road, poor quality roads?
