Default Fog Light Replacement

I had put this in the general discussion section by accident and didn't get a response so I'am putting it in this section for help. How do you remove and replace the driver side fog light on a 07 C6. Tire on a trailer ahead of us blew and showered us with debri.

Here's a link that helped me. Just click on download instructions. Also, you don't have to remove the wheel for the driver's side bulb removal. Just turn the wheels all the way toward the passenger side.

I repalced my fogs with two hyper white blubs. It was easy... about 1 hour worlking slowly. Looks great with the daytime running lights. Good luck.

  1. Remove necessary retainers in left front wheel inner fender.
  2. Pull inner fender back to access driving lamp.
  3. Disconnect connector at driving lamp socket.
  4. Twist socket CCW and remove the bulb.

There is a MUCH easier way.

The cover for the brake cooling ducts UNDERNEATH the front fascia can be removed my unscrewing one nut (the rusted one) and two screws that do not go through the air dam. There is one clip at the bottom corner of the front wheel well that you will have to remove too. Once this is removed, there are three screws holding the fog lamp in. reverse these steps to replace it.

P.S. I believe OP was trying to remove and replace the fog light housing.
