Default Tire question.

Is anybody here running nitto invo's? If so how do the perform etc. Ive also notice that they only come in a w rating which is 168mph. I dont get the car going that fast often but if I do will having only a w rated tire make a difference?

Thanks.

I don't but tons of folks do. I suspect the topic has been talked to death and instead of taking the chance of sounding like jerks by telling you to try the search button folks are just ignoring your thread. I'll take the chance, since I am in fact a jerk, and tell ya that if you search here, C6 General and C6 Z06 for Nitto Invo you will find far more threads than you'd care to take the time to read.

I do not always find what I am looking for with the search feature myself. I have the Invo's on my 06 Z51 M6 and absolutely love them!

The speed rating is for constant, so if you hit 170 mph and slow down you shouldn't worry, if you plan on maintaining a speed higher than 168 mph then you need to find a different tire.

I have all the confidence in these tires to take my car to the maximum speed it could hit and then to slow down, where I live I will probably never get the chance anyway.

Hope the info helps!

I put them on the rear one week ago. Replaced my Kuhmo Ecsta tires. I was getting a bad case of wheel hop from the Kuhmo's. When they were new, the traction seemed okay, not great.

Big difference with the Invo's. Noticeable improvement in traction even when comparing against Kuhmo's when they were new. But best of all...no more wheel hop. I'll be putting them on the front very soon.

Cool. This helps me feel a little more confident since your modded too.
