Damage to AC Condensor?
If I feel on other parts of the condensor it feels very hard and rigid, but the part where the egg impacted is soft.
Am I going to have any issues with my air conditioning operation if I just leave it be? Don't notice any leaking or anything..
As far as trying to eliminate all traces of the egg, ya may wanna see if a pressure washer will help. Start far enough away as to not damage the condenser any further, depends on how much pressure it's putting out.
Maybe some Brake Kleen can help out also rather than a pressure washer.
The soft part you're feeling is probably the fins. Once they're comprimised that're not as stiff as they were prior to the incident. They will not affect the performance of your A/C if the only complaint is being soft. Just make sure the tubes are OK as any damage to them will affect the circulation of the R134a freon and can damage the compressor over time.
