i'm thinking about swapping out my shifter for this one ( http://www.mgwltd.com/corvette_short..._shifter.shtml ), the MGW Ltd one for the c6. i read a how to article in Corvette Fever where they did the swap and they commented on how much of a difference there is in shifting. Can anyone confirm or refute this based on experience?

I've tried B&M and Hurst prior to MGW. All I can say is that MGW blows them all away. The MGW is a solid and quality built piece of hardware. With the other's there was always some rattling issues. The MGW has been rattle free and I can't be more happier. Shifting and feel are top notch.
This past week I replaced my Callaway Short Shifter with the MGW. The Callaway was much better than stock and only had a minor rattle. The MGW has a little better shift precision than the Callaway and no shifter rattle. Definitely the best shifter on the market by far.
if you search you will find not a single complaint about MGW.. my only issue was a user install error i didnt follow the instructions when i installed the race **** and keep the rubber washer on the outside of the boot so mine rattled terribly because of metal on metal. Once i actually figured it out (george from MGW always provides excelent support and fast replies) the shifter is now dead quiete and awesome to shift.
