It is really not hard to remove BUT just be careful of the metal clips that hold on the console...can scratch things very easily.

i just installed an mgw shifter. the build quality is great. everything you need is included and installs in about an hour. there is a big difference in the throw, it is short. i think it is a great shifter and would purchase again. for the price its a great mod.

I tested a prototype for MGW when the C6 shifter was in the early stages. They have made improvements to their shifter since I recieved the earliest version.....All I have to say is, I can't imagine the thing getting any better! You can't go wrong with MGW. If you run a search, you will come across my thread where I was promoting the shifter before it came out almost 2 years ago. Good luck.
