Default 09 C6 headlight aim question

I did a search and read that the driver side headlight is supposed to be lower than the passenger side headlight. Well my driver side is higher than my passenger side very very slightly. I can only see it from a certain distance away from a wall or reflection.

Well the other day, while pulling out of a parking lot I was driving around a huge pothole when a truck came hauling butt turning into the shopping center, almost side swiping me. So I made emergency maneuvers which ended me hitting that pothole and bottoming out the driver side. I got out and inspected the vehicle, it didn't do any body damage, it seemed to hit a metal brace that was near the front lower splitter and scratched the splitter a little bit.

Anyway, since I just got the car I hadn't been driving it, I noticed that when I pull up behind another clean car, the reflection of my headlights seems that the driver side is higher than the passenger side. That immediately worried me because of that is the side that I bottomed out.

I read that the driver side is supposed to be lower.. but mine is the opposite.

Now here's the weird part. When I pull into my garage wall, the HID line is perfect. It isn't off. I've tried it on any buildings, my garage wall, door, etc. The only time I notice it is when I pull into a reflection, and if I'm about 15-20ft away I can notice that the driver side is a different color than the passenger side. It seems "brighter". Is this normal? I've even had my GF drive in front of me and tell me if it's off. She says it looks normal, but sometimes, not always it sees that the driver side is higher than the passenger. What boggles me is that the line break on the wall is perfectly straight.

I only ask this because it's REALLY annoys me when the headlights are not even. I just want to make sure I didn't bust anything up bottoming out on that pothole. The body lines are still perfect straight and nothing looks out of wack. Maybe it was just coincidence when I noticed one was higher than the other.
