Trans switch
Hey Guys I have a 2005 c6 with a automatic transmission and I am think about switching to a manual transmission I have a friend with all the parts... my question is how hard is it to switch the transmission and will the transmission wiring I have in there now work? thanks for your help

I honestly don't know for sure but I spoke to a few transmission guys who had been in business for 20 years regarding a Mustang I considered doing this with. Basically they said it was pretty cost prohibitive for them to it due to the computer controls, wiring harnesses, clutch installation cut outs, etc. and said the car would probably lose resell value because of the change. He said it's easier to change a manual to an auto than the other way around. For what it's worth.
