Lots of talk about early 2005's... I have an 06 and suspect I may have the wobble (slight wobble of HB). How do I tell if it needs to be replaced for sure or not?

If it wobbles, it's telling you that the elastomeric seal between the inner hub and outer ring are beginning to separate. This will eventually become worse, and begin to cause your belts to make noise.

At that point, you will have to replace it as soon as possible. If you wait too long at that time, it could become a more complex repair.

The problem gets progressively worse over time and could self destruct during a aggressive engine exercise, like quickly passing somebody on the highway or getting up to highway speed on a on-ramp(my 2 favorite C6 launch times).

IMO, Pay now or Pay more later.

I've had the same problem, got it replaced after looking at this forum. Fortunately it was still under warranty(paid $200 deductible); however this past Saturday it fell off the car! So it's back at the dealership, I'm awaiting and preparing for the ensuing fight!
