08 seat removal help !!

Remove the four nuts that hold seats down disconnect wiring connections for seat controls and lift out. If you have rag top put top down or a coupe remove panel just makes it easier. Be careful not t hit anything with the legs of sea will do damage

Move seat forward first to get access to rear bolts. Then move seat all the way back and remove plastic covers from front bolts by prying up pin and then slide them forward. If you pull straight up they will break. Remove front bolts. The reason for doing the front last is it puts the tracks under the seat instead of behind it, which takes up less room when manuevering it out of the car.
Put a towel on door sill to protect it. lift seat up off bolts and move outward a couple inches. Now you can tip the seat inward and get at the connectors under the seat. Disconnect all of them noting how they are routed and them carefully lift seat out of car. It is very easy to scratch the door opening or the door panel while taking the seat out, so be careful.
