Default Need traction bad

My corvette is a 2007 manual Z51 it makes 621 horspower at the rear wheels. My car has Hoosier R6 race tires on all 4 corners and in the back they are 325mm and they stick out about 1 inch past the car on each side. I run 27 psi on the street. I have gone down to as low as 19 psi in the rear and it didnt help at all. My suspension is stock. As of right now 1st gear is useless naturally aspirated and second gear can't be used with nitrous. Does anybody know if there are any drag oriented suspension parts for this car I can only find stuff with spring rates oriented for the road course. And if anybody had any ideas to help with traction they would be appreciated. Thanks

Hoosier R6 is soft, but its more of a road racing tire. You might want to try Mickey Thompson ET Steets

But NOT ET STREET... MT DRAG "RADIAL" so you don't mix bias and radial... MT ET STREET are NOT radial tires.. and your car wont handle well at all...

I use MT Drag Radial 305/35x18" and they are great !!

jpee I think we are talking about the same tire. The ET Streets are a drag radial and MT only makes one tire in 305/35/18.

I have the ET street and its a drag radial. They dont make street tires that handle well and go in rain ect. The ET street is a bias ply radial with a soft wall and its a tripple zero (000) compound tire. Its a 305/35/18.

Here's a picture of it on a 18x11 widened wheel:

That is EXACTLY what I use... except my wheels are only 10" wide, and the tires seem to fit OK.. they don't bulge (AKA Pillsbury Dough Boy Look)
