Coupe scrapes coming out of my driveway. Have to pick up the wife after I get out on the street. Brings up many opportunities for bad humor, but really need to get it raised up a little. Easy fix or no?
It is a Magnuson supercharger. Adds a little weight to the front end. I've seen the threads on lowering, but paid little attention because I knew it was low enough already. I'm assuming you reverse the lowering proceedure?
Exactly. Thread the bolts back out of the front leafspring by about a 1/4" or so and give it another go. You can get to them by jacking the car up (unloading the front suspension), getting underneath the car, and lowering it back down a hair with some sort of jackstand under the leafspring itself to take tension of the spring perch bolts.

I had the same issue with a 2002 Z06 after an SC install.
Two turns of the lowering bolt got me back to where the height was before the install.
As Slick said, back the bolts out which is turning clockwise as you look from the top.
Thanks guys. I was hoping it was a simple task. Is it necessary to re align the front end after doing this?
If your car was in proper alignment before the SC install then no alignment is necessary. That is if you get the ride height close to where it was before the install. All you are doing by raising the car is putting it back to the original height. No alignment changes or very minor ones should happen.
Did you have to reposition your rad support (i.e. lower it) to install the S/C??
I have the procharger set-up with a lowered rad support and the front air dam scraps on everything. I am planning on taking the nose off the car and modifying the rad support to cure this problem.
My front end is lower because of my TVS install also plus I went with PS2 on the back and I think they are about 1/2" taller. Everyone tells me it looks meaner with the new stance. I am scrapping more also, but for for now I will leave as is.

I don't think the radiator support was molested. Getting out of my driveway was tough before. Now, something needs to be done.

Folks have good eyes . I've heard that a half inch less in diameter on the rear tires is noticeable. Now a half inch taller grabs attention. Ahhh shoot. People are just looking too close. Maybe it has something to do with the car just looking good.

The stance isn't really all that noticeable until parked around other Corvettes. When everyone notices the 345's on the back, they are looking a little closer to see why I need the extra meat.
I'm going to assume that it is the rubber air dam that is scraping so why not just trim it back to gain back whatever clearance was lost? 1" should do it!

That would be easy to fix. However, the rub I'm worried about is in the middle/front of the car. Just need to raise the front end to stock height and I should be OK.
