Faster 0-60 Time

Faster 0-60 Time
I have an 08' Auto that was tuned for the street. Was just wondering if the 0-60 would still be faster in sport mode rather than in drive????? Anyone with experience with this?

Shift points are higher in sport, but still below 60 MPH. Testing on the street will be impossible to have any accuracy or repeatability.
Your specific tune may have different results than others.

I never even tried D at the strip, why would you? Looking at the tune it is obvious it would only be a slower shift (not that it matters for 0-60). Normally I don't think there are any torque limits that would make a difference between the two. Turn off traction control and use S, that's the best launch you will get anywhere. If you go to the strip and can get down around 1.90 for sixty foot times with stock tires your doing pretty good.
