Default Achieving HP and Torque

I am putting together a 05 C6 and just want a couple opinons. My last C6 was pretty much stock(a few engine mods) and had a Procharger. I figured I was getting about 550 hp. With the new car I am building I would like to bring it up to the 800-850 HP with the use of a procharger(I really liked my old one). What kind of mods will help me achieve it. I would also like to be streetable. Is this possible?

Like many people you didnt fill out any bio info but it can be expensive if you dont take care of some issues before you start.

1-The fuel system wont handle your goal so you will need a dedicated fuel system like the ECS parallel system that adds a second fuel pump and return line with w fuel pressure regulator. It supports over 1000HP depending on options. A slightly cheaper version is good to 800rwhp.

2-The stock shortblock wont handle over 650 even with meth injection (needed for octane boost). ECS builds these shortblocks tohandle the unique stresses of the application they specialize in.

3-The stability of the ECS paxton kits make a daily driver reliable and they are the original bracket designers that ATI uses on their kits. The Paxtons dont require the oil pan to be tapped for lubrication and the unit doesnt sound ike a bad bearing

4-Your 2005 needs to have the trans and differential upgraded to handle the power. More so than any other year the internals need upgrading but unfortunately the 2005 suffered from weak diff cases so it has to be changed out for a stronger version from the pre C6 or the 2006+ corvette.

Its likely a stroker with a good set of heads is needed but the LS3 heads and intake will support your goals.

Call ECS to discuss your goals. They have DIY kits or they do the entire install.

In the end keep in mind that youre going to need a seriously good tune and I wouldnt trust someone to do that unless they have tuned 800+HP cars before with great results. Theory wont cut it. Look for experience.

Post this up in the f/i section. You'll get more responses there. Sure, it can be done with enough time and $$.

SPIN. Thank you very much I appreciate it. CM SIX, I bought the corvette and wanted a supercharger. I added kooks headers and exhaust and a Procharger. We don't have any dynos in the area that I live. So I guessed it might be around 550hp. not sure though.
