Default Exhaust Install

Hi All,

Started a thread a while back asking everyone's opinion on which exhaust to go with. Well I decided to go with the Borla 'S' exhaust and paired it up with Kooks 1 3/4" headers. They'll be ariving tomorrow and as I've never done exhaust work myself but am planning on doing the job, I'm wondering if there's anything I should know about before I get going into the job. Thank you all for your help.

Thankyou

just take your time it's pretty easy the headers will drop right out if you have the car up about 2 feet. I did mine on jackstands. the headers took about an hour because I pulled the sparkplugs also. as the directions said to but you don't have to pull them just becarful you don't knock off the end of them and the rest of the exhaust well it's easier with 2 people that's for sure but it can and will go on there by yourself just takes more work and if you have the same crappy clamps I had on mine they won't hold the tips straight very well I had to tack weld mine to keep them straight. But all in all it took 4 hours to complete.
