Lou,

I have a bone stock '09 that's just waiting to be a test mule if you want to test it on a stock car. Just say when and I'll have the car in your shop within the hour. I'll get it down to Crandall to 1/4 mile test it ASAP.

I plan on the same mods that Vic did on his car...long tubes, G6X3, ported TB, etc. but mine's an auto. I just want to be @ 500 RWHP and in the 10's naturally aspirated, without breaking stuff. I think I can do it with headers, cam, intake and tune.

The Green lid gets replaced with the air intake to the engine.

Notice the separation of the intake air from the radiator air. this separation is not present in other cold air systems and this makes this a true Ram Air.

Only cold air from the front enters the Super Ram, and through a panel filter then to the engine with about 14 inches of water pressure. >Track tested with instrumentation<

The lid will be in carbon fiber and it will NOT have the mounting tabs on it because they will be unnecessary since it will be mounted on the filter and the engine.

Thanks

Lou G

I don't think you could design a better intake, it's perfect. But, it needs to be made out of a durable plastic, IMO, to sell to the masses. But, I'm sure you know that.

Since there's no cutting of the shroud will this be the easiest cai to convert back to stock? I'm in California and there's no CARB legal option yet so I'd have to convert to stock every 2 years when the smog tests start.

Every night when I go to bed and say my prayers, I thank God for not having me live in Kalifornia....

California might be a nice place to "Visit" But I wouldn't want to Live There... Especially being a car enthusiast!! I'd be using electric cars

Well, it's even worse for me since I'm a gun nut also. I tell ya, California is the worst place for straight males with hobbies.

At some point we may pay for tooling to be made out of plastic but for now, we have the tooling and parts coming. even though the plastic parts will be cheaper, the low volume would take quite a while to get any return on investment.

One of the good things is that you do not have to CUT your stock radiator shroud.

The pricing should be reasonable.

Thanks, I agree the design is good
