I have the three buttons on my visor on my '05. 1SB I'm not sure how they are used, do they use any other service (satellite) to operate or are they internally powered transmitters? What functions are they used for? I have read owner's manual but want to be sure before I screw something up. Thanks

If yoy retrofit GM NPP (dual mode exhaust) to a car that doesnt have it you need a way to open/close the butterfies in the mufflers. NPP in a box does just that. routes the vaccum lines from the manifold to the muffler valves. It is controlled by remote control fob that comes with system. It can also be controlled by homelink in visor, as mine is.
