my window in my c6 stops about an 1/8 inch before it gets to the top. The window does not do the function that makes it go down and up when you open and close the door. I can't afford to put anymore money into the car!!
If I pull up with my hand while rolling the window up I can get it to seal good enough so rain will not get in.

Anybody know what to do!?
thanks
you have to index the window put it all the way down then all the way up and hold the button in that up position once the window is up for a couple seconds
Had the same problem every time the battery is disconnected or goes dead all you do is roll the window all the way up and hold the button in the up position for about 5 to 10 seconds and this will re index the window you have to do it for both windows if they have the same problem.
I've been doing a lot of work on my car's interior and I found this same problem, as mentioned, when the battery was disconnected and then reconnected. The window would index down and then never go back past that indexed spot. Each time I would unhook and then reconnect the battery, it would do it even further down and never go all the way back.
I found that in order to fix it, I had to have the both door panels and the seats installed...both doors closed all the way. Then start it up, roll both windows down then up and hold the up button a few seconds after they have gone up. This fixed the issue.
I came to the conclusion this is done to prevent you from breaking the glass when the battery is unhooked and they reconnected and the windows then staying in the full up position not having had power to index down.
