Grease Spotted Wheel
I just did some long overdue cleaning on the inner barrel of my 05 C6 wheels. The left rear has spots of black oil/grease. It is many round patterns like something leaking each time I park. I'll get it up on the ramps tomorrow and try to find where it's coming from. Any ideas on what I'll find? If anybody has had this experience I'd appreciate the opportunity to learn from you. Thanks.

If these get overgreased just a little bit they it show up on the barrel of the wheel.

Make sure it isn't brake fluid . . . I just replaced a failing stainless line in the rear that was depositing a drip or ten under pressure in the barrel and promptly collecting brake dust, making it look black and greasy.
