Ceramic Brake Pads for C6

I am considering replacing my stock brake pads with Hawks high performance ceramic pads. Anyone had experience with this and is it a good idea. Thanks

I love the HAWKS on my 99 with aftermarket rotors. I considered the HAWKS on my 07 Z06 but had heard that the Hawks are not friendly to stock Z06 rotors...I have not heard that about the stock C6 rotors. I ended up with Posi Quiets on my Z and love them...stop great and almost zero dust. I can tell you if you end up with the Hawks you will be happy. Just make sure the compound isn't going to be an issue with your stock rotors

My Hawk Z pads turned squealy. One day they'll be replaced.

If low dust is your goal the GM ceramics are great.

That price is what you need for all 4 corners; just pads. That's all I replaced when I did my Z51. I didn't turn the rotors so I can't answer your other question. I highly recommend Kevin at PartsTaxi.com for pads. I've had excellent service from him!
