Default New exhaust install-2006 C6A

I'm getting delivery of a B&B Fusion exhaust with X pipe next week and looking for any advice on installation.

I'm installing in my garage (no lift!) and was wondering if the removal/install can be done on jack stands. Also, any tips on the wiring and vacuum line routing?

Thanks!

I did mine entirely on jack stands and although it was a little tight to get under there, it wasn't all that difficult. My biggest piece of advice and the biggest headache I had was trying to get the downpipes separated from the over-axle pipes. I eventually accomplished it by lightly hitting it with a rubber mallet while someone pulled and yanked on the mufflers/tips. It's a pretty easy installation. Hope you love your new sound!

Thanks.

Did you have to remove the rear stabilizer bar? What about the wiring & vac lines?

I installed NPP mufflers on my '06.
It is a lot easier to remove and install the mufflers by taking off a bolt and a nut on each side of the rear stabilizer bar and moving it up.
Ran wiring and a vacuum line for the NPP in a box kit from Ed @ Nakid Parts.

Yeah, if you undo two bolts on the stabilizer bar, it drops down to allow space to pull out the muffler and over-axle pipe.

I didn't have to run any lines, but I wasn't installing NPP. If you're not doing NPP or Mild 2 Wild, it's just the pipes to changeout I believe.
