Have a TVS2300 on my TBSS @ 15psi. It makes my 5000LB brick blow away C6s. Its a great blower for the price, just be careful with all that power. A wise man once said "stupid hurts" haha
Or, here's something different, STS Turbo kit. It's easy on the rear-end, pop the hood and it looks like stock motor, hooks up better than a blown car due to the lag.
i have $8000.00 what the best way to send it.i have headers,x-pipe,b&b bullets,snake charmer cai.and 150 shot hsw.but want more.so whats the best way to spend $8000.00.07 c6 a6
Sell the NO2, add that to the budget.
for 1/4 mile / street use
tq converter, gears/built rear, tires, ECS kit - more than 8 grand but you will have a bruiser
Save and invest the money so that when you go to get your next sports car, you have more funds to draw from. Mods are just a financial black hole; you'll never see that money again.

Haha, he didnt ask what the smart thing to do. Thats some great advice though.
i live for today not tomorrow.could careless about loseing money on parts.im building this car for me and want a street car that i can drive on weekends and then change the rear tires on monday.
Put it back to stock and trade for an '08 LS3. Put your mods on it, plus a converter. As long as your spending you might just as well get some residual value. If you deal right, you'll have money left over to send to me for the financial advice.

the deal i got on this car i just cant see me trying to trade it.
I'd try to be patient and wait for a deal on an A&A or ECS supercharger and save any residual for a future trans. upgrade or a cam. It would be nice to have your problem of where to spend the money. Good luck.

Just sayin. Your already paid for mods swapped onto a LS3 w/converter is a lock for a solid .5 lower 1/4mi. You get the same reliability plus other '08 upgrades. Probably cash left over for a cam or ? when you need your next power fix.
I agree with the other posts, a supercharger! Call Doug or Chris at East Coast Supercharging and they will set you up, and believe me, you will not regret it!

I could be biased, but I agree with those who said to drop it off at ECS!!
In all seriousness, there is not a more proven source of power made on this forum then from our ECS Paxton centrifugal kit. They are very reliable, and would fit your budget with change. (which you should keep for future tire replacement)
The nice thing about the kit is that as your power demands grow, and trust me they will grow, you did not waste a single penny in the process. We have approximately 30 C6's now that are over 700rwhp with just the base kit, in addition to headers and alcohol injection. Granted that is pushing a 100% stock motor and is not for everyone, but the potential is there if or when your ready. And then there's forging!!
Feel free to call the shop if you have any questions. 609-752-0321
If you've already tasted a 150 shot and want more, you're going to need to forge it before the supercharger will give you much (if any) more than the 150 shot. I'm kinda surprised more people didn't catch that you already have a 150 shot... superchargers are fantastic, and the power is always there, and doesn't need to be refilled... but if you're already on a 150 shot of nitrous, you've more or less accomplished the same power a supercharger will get you (minus some of the experience and with a slightly different power curve). If you want "more", like you said, you can't just toss a supercharger on there, you need to forge it, then put a supercharger on there. Or forge it, and up the nitrous shot. Either way, if you want more power than a 150 shot is giving you with street driving reliability, you're gonna have to forge it. I would vote forge + supercharger, but it's going to take a bit more cash (though not much, depending where you're shopping, of course).
On top of that.. you're in an auto car.. and the power limit on the 6 speed autos is kinda up in the air, probably pretty near the limit of the stock bottom end, maybe less... so with that in mind.. I guess I don't know if forging would be worth it, as you might just end up breaking trannies (.. which is something I know way more about than I'd like to).

You can easily more than double that 150 shot with the right blower setup.

We caught it, I am surprised you didn't catch us catching it :
I suggested he sell the NO2, build the rear, get a stall and bolt on an ECS kit for the street/strip or go pfadt, brakes, tires and cam for the roadcourse. A good ECS kit with headers and meth on an otherwise stock LS2 is more than 200 rwhp without going totally radical. (340 whp to 650 whp) Pushing it the other 50 whp is what Doug was talking about.
I would take the ECS car over NO2 any day of the week. In fact, once I convince the wife that an ECS kit is a perfectly acceptable gift for my 40th, I am going FI with Meth and my previously installed bolt ons (headers, catted mid pipe, 4.10s, etc)
