Cabin Whistling Noise
I was in a 2005 Lemans blue loaded C6 for a test drive. The defroster was on high and after a few miles I started to hear a whistle. Once the driver cracked the window open, the whistle stopped. Could this be a clogged cabin filter.I'm new with these cars so any help would be appreciated.

Could be that the window did not go all the way up and needs to be indexed. Also could be that one of the vents and the sound was drowned out once the window rolled down

How fast were you going? My whistling was caused by the lovely 2005 top delaminating. Fortunately with a call to GM they replaced the top free of charge, even though it had already been done once in 2006.
I first heard it at 120mph and in the end it was happening at 70mph. Had her up to 120mph after I picked her up and not a sound.
