Default DynoTune Complete!

Heres the results on my 2006 A6 with SLP Blackwing, 1 7/8" LG Motorsports SUPER Pro Headers, 3" Xpipe, Corsa Extreme, 160 degree thermostat, MSD wires, and NKG NR5IX plugs. Honestly from seeing some of the numbers on here from others, I thought I would get higher RWHP, but its all good. Its a fun car to drive now, and it really sounds awesome.

Big thanks to Randy and Jan at Extreme Motorsports for a good experience, and letting me hang out in the shop all day to bothering them

and now I just have to think of the next mod to stop this itch

Contact one of the forum vendors who offer porting to get details..."SpinMonster" comes to mind. He should be able to help you set expectations and may even have a few before/after dyno sheets

SpinMonster is the man!
I would think 6-10 rwhp & 8-12 rwtq would be about right....

That is exciting! Do they change the shift points in the tune?

When I did some mods on my truck, my favorite was the shifting on the tune.

Im not really sure?....i just saw another person's number who is putting down 355 RWHP with just the intake and axle back. How is that possible? LG claims super pros add 10+ more HP over their Pros. Just wondering.

TAZ...just let me know if you wanted to get together before you drop the $ for your setup!

2006 Vert with BPP Vortex Ram Air, Kooks Long Tube headers, High Flow CATS and Corsa Sport axle back exhaust: Dynoet, Max Power = 363.06 Max Torque = 366.09. I have since added VMAX ported TB and SpinFAST 92mm Intake. I have not returned to the Dyno since adding the ported TB or SpinFAST but 1/4 mile ET improved by more than 1/2 second.

Greg, glad to hear your happy with your experience! As far as the numbers produced, vs. numbers others have achieved....

Higher numbers will be attained closer to sea level, Phoenix is at about 1400ft. Also, different dynos will produce different results. Our dyno compensates for temperature and barometric pressure, so in theory the numbers should be close to everyone else. Also, the way we tune, we try to avoid any pinging or knocking on 91 octane fuel, back east they have 93 octane so a little more timing can be tolerated. The last thing we want is to hurt your engine, so we tune for maximum performance, with safety first and foremost.

tazlittleking - yes we adjust shift points and shift pressures on the A4 and A6 cars, on the MN6 cars, we turn off CAGS as S.O.P. We also routinely adjust the fans so that they come on at lower temps, in Greg's car we installed a 160 degree T-Stat.

The real question is - how does it feel? Our tunes not maximize the performance to safe levels, but also we spend a lot of time improving driveability which is of equal if not greater importance....as much as we'd like to - we can't spend all the time driving our cars at W.O.T.!

If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call anytime. I enjoyed the time we spent, and you certainly didn't keep me from my work - keeping the customers happy is my job!

Hey Randy

Thanks for the post....im learning more and more each day The tune made it seem a little more smooth, but i really didnt feel any change in power compared to when i drove it in (maybe just ignorance).

Either way, i have piece of mind knowing everything was tuned correctly to ensure im not hurting my engine, and gaining the maximum performance i can with my setup while being safe.

Highly recommend to anyone in the AZ area who wants their car tuned!!
